來過德國慕尼黑的觀光客大多來過這家德國餐廳Hofbräuhaus München，它是以傳統德國菜像是豬腳、香腸等聞名的老字號餐廳。不過，你可能不知道的是它對熟客還有這個服務。

走進餐廳，會誤以為走到了百貨公司美食街，座位超多、沒人帶位，中間還有人現場演奏。特別的是它提供的是共用的大桌，這代表著不論社會地位，在餐廳人人平等。大概是名氣大，服務生都愛理不理。點了招牌菜豬腳和香腸，雖不是驚為天人，但都算好吃。

疑？這區一格一格的鐵架裡裝什麼呢？原來是熟客的超大啤酒杯。我德國同學的祖父就在這兒有個杯子！下次要是你有機會到慕尼黑旅行，別忘了吃完豬腳來這裡瞧瞧，感受老時代熟客在這裡大口吃肉、大口喝酒的熱鬧氣氛！

Most tourists have been in this German restaurant in Munich as it’s famous for traditional German food, but what you may not know is that they offer this service for regulars starting in the old time and still have it today.

Walked into the restaurant, you would feel like walking into a food court because is spacious and is self-seating — restaurants are in most cases always self seating. The hofbräuhaus and the beergardens are even more special — self seating at communal tables which are shared by everybody — it’s the concept of egalitarianism — everybody is equal no matter of race, income or social status.

We tried the famous german pork knuckle and sausage, which were not amazing but good. Servers are not very nice maybe due to its big brand name. There was all live music there! Fun environment!

You will find an area where it stores lot of big beer mug for 1 liter. Yes! Those are regulars’ beer mugs! Imagine in the old time, regulars were eating meat, drinking beers and listening to live music here!
